I am an artist and engineer
who makes listening rooms,
spaces for encountering
new sonic possibilities off-the-grid,
through installations (🏗),
performances (👯),
software (📱),
sculptures (🔊),
and workshops (🛠).

I'm currently a Staff Engineer and Data Scientist at the Mozilla Data Collective,
part of the Mozilla Foundation.

I'm also an adjunct professor at NYU's ITP program,
where I teach courses on
Sound Art and Listening Machines.

Previously I was a 2023-2025 Just Tech fellow
at the Social Science Research Council
and a 2023 – 2024 Performance AIRspace Resident
at Abrons Art Center.

Before that, I was the Director of Engineering
at Somewhere Good,
a 2022 Future Imagination Collaboratory Fellow
at Tisch School of the Arts at NYU,
a 2021 Mozilla Creative Media award recipient,
a 2020 Technology Artist-In-Resident at Pioneer Works,
and a 2020 Brooklyn Arts Fund grant recipient
through the Brooklyn Arts Council.

I work on sonic engineering, machine listening,
computational audio, and programmatic sound
through A Quiet Life.
